  • Welcome to FellowsForum.org, an online community and resource for over 150 current participants and alumni of the American Symphony Orchestra League's Orchestra Management Fellowship Program. First convened in February 2004, the Fellows Forum seeks to provide life-long camaraderie, inspiration, renewal, learning, and challenging growth opportunities for its members, and to create new avenues for members to strengthen orchestra institutions. Our mission is to share and build upon learning from the orchestra and arts field (and beyond), and to bring forward areas of interest and concern for discussion, leadership, and action.

Created in 1981, the Orchestra Management Fellowship Program is a specialized year-long leadership training program designed to launch executive careers in orchestra management. Through residencies with orchestras of various sizes as well as leadership seminars and a comprehensive overview of the concert music industry, program staff and host orchestra executive directors nurture the leadership and management skills in each Fellow. Program graduates currently hold over 75 leadership positions in American orchestras.
